Legit.Health, a project of AI Labs Group, has won the Startup World Cup Regional Finals during B Acceleration Week, securing a place at the global grand final in San Francisco.
The company, which develops artificial intelligence solutions to help healthcare professionals assess dermatological conditions more accurately, has expanded from an initial concept into a technology now used by health systems, insurance companies and private healthcare networks internationally.
The regional final brought together several innovative startups, including Einsted.Bio, Ainwater, FLYZZ Technology, Okorum Technologies and NANDO.
With the regional title, Legit.Health will now represent the ecosystem at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco.

Originating in the Basque Country, AI LABS Group is a health technology company founded in 2020 that developed Legit.Health, an AI-powered medical device designed to support dermatology through image analysis.
Using photographs taken with a smartphone, the platform helps clinicians assess, monitor and measure the severity of hundreds of skin conditions, providing more objective and consistent clinical evaluations while supporting earlier diagnosis and follow-up.
The company was established to address growing challenges in access to dermatology services, including long waiting times and a shortage of specialists.
Legit.Health was inspired in part by the personal experience of CEO Andy Aguilar Robles as a dermatology patient, and was built through collaboration between experts in artificial intelligence, engineering, product development and clinical dermatology.
Supported by Spain’s CDTI Innovation and the European Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR), the company is contributing to more accessible and data-driven dermatology care, with a particular focus on improving the early detection and management of skin diseases.
