A new MedTech investment is planned in Malta, where the company Vantive will develop a manufacturing and research facility in Ħal Far with a total value of around €150 million.
The project will focus on producing medical devices and components used in kidney care and dialysis treatments.
Alongside manufacturing, the site is also expected to include research activities aimed at supporting the development of new healthcare technologies and solutions.
The facility is expected to create around 250 skilled jobs, mainly in science, engineering, and technical fields. Construction is planned to start in the coming period, with operations expected in the following years once the site is completed.
The investment adds to Malta’s growing MedTech sector, which has been expanding in recent years as more international companies establish operations on the island. This development further strengthens Malta’s role in medical manufacturing and innovation in healthcare technologies.
