Over 2,000 Global Leaders to Gather in Malta as Government and Industry Unite for MedTech Malta 2025

From 12 to 14 November, Valletta will welcome leaders, innovators, and investors from all over the world for MedTech Malta 2025. With more than 2,000 attendees, 300+ expert speakers, and over 100 sponsors and partners, the event will once again turn Malta into a meeting point for the global MedTech community.

Looking forward to the event, Dr. Dylan Attard, CEO of MedTech World, said:

“MedTech Malta is the culmination of our journey throughout the year. After hosting roadshows and summits across the world, this is where everything comes together. Malta is not just where MedTech World began; it’s our home. Bringing everyone back here to celebrate innovation and collaboration is something truly special.”

Where innovation meets collaboration

From networking opportunities to focused discussions, throughout the three-day event, MedTech Malta 2025 will make sure that every attendee has a chance to connect and build lasting partnerships.

The event will open in the presence of key government leaders, including Hon. Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta; Hon. Silvio Schembri, Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects; Hon. Dr. Jo-Etienne Abela, Minister for Health and Active Ageing; Hon. Dr. Malcolm Paul Agius Galea, Parliament Secretary for Active Ageing; Hon. Keith Azzopardi Tanti, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research and Innovation; and Hon. Dr. Alex Borg, Leader of the Opposition Nationalist Party, among others.

Their participation shows Malta’s strong commitment to supporting innovation and creating opportunities in the MedTech sector.

A full program of sessions and events

The agenda includes panel discussions, specialised forums, and workshops, now part of the CPD-accredited program. Topics will cover new technologies, investment trends, and real-world healthcare challenges. Attendees will hear from leading experts representing companies like NVIDIA, Cleveland Clinic Ventures, Johnson & Johnson, and BlackRock, along with participants from Europe, the GCC, North America, and Asia.

Networking opportunities are at the heart of MedTech Malta. Exclusive sessions such as the CEO-Only Forum, Investor-Only Forum, and Commercial Leaders-Only Forum give senior executives and decision-makers a chance to share experiences and exchange ideas.

The Surgical Conference, Startup Pitch Competition, and sessions featuring MTI alumni are among the key agenda highlights, each showcasing breakthrough technologies, promising startups, and inspiring innovators driving progress in the global MedTech scene.

Celebrating innovation and giving back

On the final evening, the MedTech World Awards Gala will honour outstanding contributions to healthcare and technology. The event will also include a charitable auction, with proceeds going to the SiGMA Foundation.

These funds help support children’s education and women’s empowerment projects around the world, reflecting MedTech World’s ongoing commitment to creating a positive social impact.

Malta’s story at the heart of it all

Beyond the conference, attendees will have the chance to experience Malta’s rich culture and history through a curated cultural tour.

The tour has become a key part of the event, showing how innovation and heritage can coexist. It also highlights why Malta is such an inspiring setting for an event that focuses on building a healthier, more connected world.

As MedTech Malta 2025 begins, the excitement is building. The event brings together people, ideas, and solutions that are changing healthcare worldwide.

Over the next three days, Valletta will not just host a conference; it will welcome a community united with the goal of improving lives through technology.
