MammoCheck has been awarded a €500,000 grant under the SEED programme of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF).
The funding will support the next phase of the project, including clinical, quality and regulatory work towards FDA clearance in the United States and CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR) in Europe.
MammoCheck is developing an adjunctive, clinician-reviewed platform that combines thermal imaging and artificial intelligence to support breast cancer screening.
The project is being carried out in partnership with the Frederick Research Center, continuing MammoCheck’s development as a spin-out of Frederick University.
The MAMMOCHECK project is implemented under the Cohesion Policy Programme THALIA 2021–2027 and is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation.

MammoCheck provides women with control over their breast health by offering a non-invasive, contactless, and painless method for performing breast cancer examinations at home.
They offer a device that is compatible with a smartphone application, which leverages artificial intelligence to monitor breast health as frequently as desired, without the need for exposure to ionizing radiation.
